Harvest Location: Rui Fong, Jiayi County, Alishan, Taiwan
Cultivar: Tieguanyin
Production: 25% oxidized, medium roast
Grown in the misty peaks of Alishan, Taiwan, this Traditional Tieguanyin embodies the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Taiwan’s most renowned oolong teas. Cultivated at 1,200–1,600 meters in the pristine, cool-climate environment of Alishan’s highlands, this tea benefits from slow growth, mineral-rich soils, and frequent mountain mist, resulting in a smooth, intensely aromatic, and flavorful brew.
Unlike modern green-style Tieguanyin, this traditional roasting method creates a deeper, more complex character. It emphasizes warm, toasty notes while preserving the tea’s natural floral sweetness. Carefully hand-harvested and skillfully oxidized, this tea delivers a perfect balance between fragrance, depth, and a long-lasting finish.
