This Gui Fei tea is sourced from the Tam Đường region in Lai Châu, where the tea is cultivated at an elevation of 900-1200 meters. The trees are of the Jin Xuan (Kim Tuyên) varietal, processed using traditional Taiwanese methods to preserve the authenticity of their respective styles.
Much like in Taiwan, these tea plants are visited by the green leaf hopper (known locally as 'rầy xanh'), an insect that plays a crucial role in creating the unique flavor profile of Oriental Beauty and Gui Fei teas. This natural influence allows the teas from this region to share many of the same qualities as their Taiwanese counterparts.
